Equity Futures – Stocks to Watch: Adani Green, Tata Motors, Power Grid, Majesco, JSW Energy

Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange traded down 0.18% at 14,720, indicating a tepid start for the benchmarks on Monday.

Here are the top stocks likely to be in focus today:

Adani green energy: The company has signed definitive agreements with SkyPower Global, headquartered in Toronto, to acquire a 100% stake in a special purpose vehicle that has a 50 MW operating solar asset in Telangana.

Tata engines: The company said Marc Llistosella will not be joining its CEO and managing director, as previously communicated. The auto major had announced last month that Llistosella would join as CEO and managing director of the company effective July 1 this year.

Future Retail: The Future Group has moved the divisional bench of the Delhi High Court against the order to suspend its deal with Reliance Industries.

Tata Power: India’s Competition Commission says it has cleared Tata Power’s proposed acquisition of 51% stake in North Eastern Electricity Supply Company of Odisha Ltd.

Electrical network: The company said it has signed a share purchase agreement with Jaiprakash Power Ventures to acquire 74% stake in Jaypee POWERGRID for Rs 351.64 crore.

NTPC: Output from NTPC’s Bongaigaon power plant in Assam exceeded its installed capacity of 750 MW for the first time since all its units went online two years ago.

RIL: Reliance Industries (RIL) sold three-quarters of Madhya Pradesh’s coal seam gas to a subsidiary of the company for just over $6 at the current oil price.

Sri Infra: Srei Infrastructure Finance Ltd has announced that its corporate secretary, Sandeep Kumar Lakhotia, has resigned. The move comes following the salary cap imposed on the company by its lenders amid pandemic-induced stress on its business.

Voda Idea: Vodafone Idea has admitted finding an “inadvertent error” in January 2021 subscriber data reported to TRAI, and has now corrected and submitted revised information to the regulator. The company’s statement comes after TRAI subscriber data for January 2021 showed additions to VIL’s mobile network stood at 1.7 million, peaking in the UP (West) circle.

Prabhat Dairy: The company has received approval in principle for the delisting offer from BSE and NSE. The offer for the delisting offer opens on March 24 and will close on March 31.

Dredging company: Dredging Corporation of India announced on Friday that it has elevated D Subbarao to the position of chief financial officer with immediate effect.

Bharti Airtel: The company has reached an agreement to acquire 17,43,560 shares (representing 7.48% of paid-up equity) of the Sandhya Ballargha hydropower project, a special purpose vehicle (SPV), the telecom operator said in his BSE file.

JSW Energy: The company’s subsidiary, JSW Future Energy, has received an order for a total wind capacity of 450 MW from Solar Energy Corporation of India.

Bharat Dynamics: The Ministry of Defense has signed a contract with the company to supply Milan-2T anti-tank guided missiles to the Indian army at a price of Rs 1,188 crore.

Majesco: Aurum Platz has made an open offer to public shareholders to acquire up to 26% of the company’s total capital. The offer price of Rs 77 per share is at a premium of over 21% to Friday’s closing price.

Great Eastern Expedition: The company has signed a contract to purchase a second-hand medium-sized gas carrier of approximately 35,188 m3. The vessel is expected to join the company’s fleet during Q1FY22.
