Assetz adds two directors to its transition team
Assetz Capital has hired two new relationship managers to its bridging team as it looks to grow its bridging loan portfolio in the coming months.
The peer-to-peer lending platform has appointed Laleta Buctkuar and Colin Mottram as part of its new “strategic direction in the relay market”.
Gateway specialist Buctkaur spent 12 years with mortgage and loan provider Together. Most recently, she worked at Roma Finance, a Manchester-based mortgage lender.

Mottram was promoted internally to Senior Relationship Manager, after having been with Assetz Capital for two years. Prior to joining Assetz, he held commercial positions with Lloyds Banking Group and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
“We have been offering tailor-made bridging loans for many years, and while we can still respond to complex cases, we have also launched a more precise standardized proposal which has been well received by our intermediary partners,” said Mark Standley, national sales director at Assetz Capital.

“This simplifies the process and reduces the time investment required by all parties to respond to the majority of transition cases.
“Road and simple or tailor-made and creative, we are well positioned to manage financing needs throughout the life cycle of the loan, including the transition from exit to term or transition to development. That’s why we will continue to invest in the best talent across our business to ensure the best possible service experience for our borrowers and brokers.
“We want to engage with intermediaries across the UK, to collectively bring our bridging loans to market on a large scale. “
